Where It All Started

"Back in 2012, we noticed something troubling - businesses getting cookie-cutter legal advice that didn't fit their actual needs. So we decided to do things differently. No stuffy traditions, just real solutions for real problems."

We started with three lawyers in a cramped office on King Street, fueled by way too much coffee and a genuine belief that corporate law didn't have to be intimidating. Our first client was a tech startup that couldn't afford the big firms - they took a chance on us, and honestly, we took a chance too.

Fast forward to today, we've grown into a full-service firm, but we haven't forgotten where we came from. Every client still gets that same scrappy dedication we had back then, just with a lot more experience under our belts.

How We Got Here

2012

The Beginning

Three lawyers, one vision, and an office that definitely violated some square footage recommendations. We took on our first corporate client and pulled an all-nighter to nail their contract review.

2014

First Big Win

Successfully represented a mid-sized manufacturer in a complex business dispute that could've bankrupted them. The victory put us on the map and taught us we could compete with the big dogs.

2017

Major Expansion

Moved to Bay Street and doubled our team. Added M&A and IP protection services because our clients kept asking for help in those areas. Turns out listening to what people actually need works pretty well.

2020

Adapting Through Crisis

Pandemic hit hard, but we pivoted fast. Helped dozens of businesses navigate unprecedented challenges, restructure operations, and frankly, just survive. Some of our proudest work happened during the toughest times.

2023

Recognition & Growth

Got recognized by Canadian Lawyer Magazine as a top business law firm. More importantly, our client retention rate hit 94%, which means we're doing something right beyond just winning cases.

2026

Today & Tomorrow

We're now a team of 24 legal professionals serving clients across Ontario. Still in that Bay Street office, just with a much better view. And yeah, we're still drinking too much coffee.
